Tommy Potter

Tommy joined the Brite Advancement team in 2005, after completing over thirty-six years of pastoral responsibilities with Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregations in Mesquite, Dallas, Waco and Midland, Texas. He has served the Christian Church as a member of the General Board, the Division of Overseas Ministries, the Common Global Ministries, the United Christian Missionary Society, and the Reconciliation Ministry, numerous other commissions and committees of the Christian Church in the Southwest, and ecumenical organizations. From 2000 until 2005, Dr. Potter was a Trustee of Brite Divinity School. Since 2007, Tommy has been the Disciples Preacher at the historic Bloys Campmeeting.
Tommy, and his wife, Kathleen Presley Potter, have five adult children, and nine grandchildren.
