Dr. Coleman Baker is the Program Manager of the Soul Repair Center. A native Texan, Dr. Baker is a biblical scholar whose interest includes religious identity, particularly the use of the religious texts in identity formation. Dr. Baker completed his Ph.D. in Biblical Interpretation with an emphasis in New Testament and Early Christianity at Brite in 2010. His work focuses on the role of religious texts in identity formation in early Judaism and Christianity, but his interests extend to identity formation in contemporary religious communities and culture as well, including the role of religious texts in moral identity formation.
