The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations Fellowships
The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations Fellowship is Brite's premier competitive scholarship for outstanding Master of Divinity students. This award includes a full tuition grant plus a $10,000 annual stipend for three years of fulltime Master of Divinity study. Beginning in fall 2012, Brite will award three AVDF Fellowships annually.
Recipients of the AVDF Fellowship are expected to excel academically and to demonstrate outstanding potential for leadership in the church and in the wider community. Successful applicants must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or better. A campus visit and personal admissions interview is required as part of the application process.
Application deadline: January 15
Those making application for the AVDF Fellowship who are not successful in winning this award will automatically be considered for Brite's other Master of Divinity scholarships. Grants range from 50-100% tuition and may also include a merit stipend.
Brite Divinity School has a long tradition of providing generous merit-based and need-based financial aid to admitted students. The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations Award represents a new level of merit-based support for a select group of Master of Divinity students. We encourage all eligible students to apply for this prestigious award.

A visit typically includes an interview, tour of campus and graduate student housing, as well as the opportunity to meet students, faculty, and staff, and to sit in on a class. If you are new to the area, we will also arrange for you to see some of what Fort Worth has to offer.
