Stephen V. Sprinkle, a native of North Carolina, is an Ordained Minister of
the Alliance of Baptists. He serves on the national Board of Directors of
the Alliance. He is a member of CityChurch of Dallas, where he serves as
Theologian of the Congregation. He is partnered to Rob Rodriguez, and lives
in the Mid-Cities. Dr. Sprinkle was educated at Barton College, Yale
University Divinity School, and Duke University where he received the Ph.D.
degree in Systematic Theology. He has pastored or co-pastored five
congregations in North Carolina, Connecticut, and Texas. He holds membership
in the Association of Theological Field Education and the Academy of
Religious Leadership. Since 1994, he has served Brite as Director of Field
Education and Supervised Ministry, and holds the rank of Associate Professor
of Practical Theology. He is an avid student of politics, a Civil War buff,
loves the cinema, and enjoys activities such as travel and saltwater fishing.
Lately, he and his life partner have taken up whitewater rafting.
